Kevin Durant had to leave the game between the Brooklyn Nets and the New Orleans Pelicans, due to a left knee injury.

The All-Star forward sustained the injury in the first half and went to the locker room. He had medical tests that showed a left knee sprain. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN took to Twitter and said Durant will have an MRI on Sunday.

The superstar of the Nets spent only 12 minutes on the floor. He had 12 points, three rebounds and two assists during that time. Kevin Durant has been one of the best players in the NBA this season. He is averaging a league-leading 29.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists, while shooting 52% from the field.
