When the Utah Jazz lost in the first round of the playoffs for the third time in four seasons, it was likely that there would be wholesale changes coming to Salt Lake City. Head coach Quin Snyder and the team have already parted ways, and now it appears as if Rudy Gobert will be the next domino to fall. There have been rumors linking Gobert to two Eastern Conference teams, the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls. Both of those teams could use a defensive upgrade in the paint and have multiple pieces, including draft capital and young players, that they could send back to Utah. Teams like the New York Knicks may still be holding out hope that they can pry Donovan Mitchell away from the Jazz, but as things stand currently, it would seem that Gobert will be the one in a new uniform come next season.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Gobert has been a fixture on the NBA All-Defensive Team, having made the first team in each of the last six seasons. So with that in mind, how many of the NBA players to make the First Team All-Defensive Team since the 2011-12 season can you name in five minutes?
